2024 Toyota bZ4X Driving Range

The 2024 Toyota bZ4X delivers exceptional driving range as a battery electric vehicle. The new Toyota bZ4X’s entry-level XLE grade is rated for an EPA-estimated range of up to 252 miles on the FWD model and up to an estimated 228 miles of range on the AWD variant. Using the FWD setup, the Toyota bZ4X’s premium Limited grade gets an EPA-estimated range of up to 236 miles, while adding AWD allows Limited to deliver up to 222 miles of total driving range.

2024 Toyota bZ4X Battery and Charging

Now standard on all Toyota bZ4X grades, the dual-voltage charging cable provides a portable option for Level One and Level Two charging, and new charge information such as estimated vehicle range and charging times will now be displayed on the fully digital Multi-Information Display. Also included with lease or purchase is one year of complimentary charging through EVgo’s nationwide charging network, which features over 950 fast charging locations across more than 35 states.

All 2024 Toyota bZ4X models are equipped with a J1772/CCS1 connector that allows for Level 3 DC fast charging as well as Level 1 and Level 2 AC charging. The 7.6 kW onboard charger allows the SUV to charge from low battery light to full in about 9.5 hours with a Level 2 charger at 240V, while Level 2 charging provides approximately 20 miles of range per hour of charge, and it can fully charge the battery when plugged in overnight. For 2024, you can add an additional Level 2 home charging option; the ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 charger is available at participating Toyota dealerships or directly from ChargePoint online, and it comes with a 23-foot charging cable to support different parking configurations.
